Do you ever . . .

Do you ever have those days when Reality knocks on your door and then smacks you hard across the face?

Which forcibly reminds you that bad things happen outside of the world of TV, to people that you love, people that you don't even like, people just down the street?

Which inspires within you an irrepressible urge to pack up your family, move to the middle of nowhere, home school your children and never again let them out of your sight?

Anyone?

Oh yes, it is so much nicer to live in a bubble! I'm sorry reality smacked you across the face, it really does hurt.

Oh, I'm going through the home school thing right now. I, who have known way too many social awkward home schoolers, who loved school, who would be such a bad elementary/middle school/high school teacher. Yeah. Hopefully this passes soon. :)

p.p.s. Would you mind removing that picture of the Cadbury Egg? Or posting again soon so I don't have to keep looking at it? ;)

Um...YES!!!!

The only thing that helps it to think about how strong your kids are going to be when they make it through all this! They are the chosen generation after all.

Absolutely. My 5 year old son has a birthday party to go to tomorrow, and I am half tempted not to send him because I don't know the parents. I actually called to RSVP and told them that I would stick around for the first few minutes "to make sure my son is comfortable." HAH! It's to make sure I am comfortable with him being there!

Thinking of you. Wondering what's going on. Thinking we should get together and play. :)

All I can say is YUP. Escape--I want it desperately sometimes.
