What I learned Yesterday:

If you really want to listen to conference, play conference bingo with children who don't know how to read. It takes some serious listening to catch those few elusive words like sacrament, bishop and CTR. You wouldn't think so, but it's true.

Also: Swedish fish, Pringles and strawberries does not a meal make.

I still haven't done bingo since I only have 1 reader. (We tried to do pictures once but the kids didnt really want to do it.) I almost did this year but it turned out my kids did super. I bet since I got it this time thought it won't happen next time. Haha.

I started printing those out this morning......my kids last about 3 minutes coloring, then they were done. I didn't even attempt to teach them bingo.

Yesterday I had frosted flakes, cheese and crackers, peanut butter-chocolate bars, and pizza. I don't feel so good today.

You did better than I did. I only caught one whole session during the baby's nap and after that it was only bits and pieces of the others.

As for square meals...starbursts are square right? My kids has those for lunch :)

I seriously don't think its possible to listen to conference when you have small children. I didn't catch a word of it today, and I know my mother-in-law is going to quiz me on it later (she always does).

I just let my kids do whatever they wanted so I could watch in peace...just kidding, but I didn't do the packets this year, I should have since my kids were horrible, but I didn't. Lesson learned.

Oh, man, I got soooo sick on peanut m&ms. Really, you can't eat snack food for lunch. No matter how much you can put in your stomach, it just doesn't count!

Sounds like a perfect meal to me (tee, hee) all it needed was some diet coke. I wish they had cool "conference" games like that when my kids were growing up.

My kids did all my conference activities in two talks.

And I would KILL for some Swedish Fish right now.

Pringles and strawberries sound really good right now. The strawberries have been so good lately.

So are you saying I should avoid putting those three things in my food storage?

I would add Benadryl to that list of conference snacks. Kids love it.
