My Weekend

Not the best one yet. Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

1. I lost five pounds. In two days. In fairly unpleasant ways.

2. Every member of my family threw up but one.

3. Poop had to be cleaned from places it shouldn't go.

4. There will be no church going.

5. There has been much TV watching.

6. For the first time, in possibly my entire life, I am looking forward to Monday.

P.S. I will also stop complaining tomorrow. I have made a goal and I am going to keep it. Look forward to that.

P.P.S. The title is from A Tale of Two Cities. Guess no one gets a prize. . .

Oh, golly, I'm so sorry! May is not the time of year for such things! And as for the title contest--I love Tale of Two Cities but I haven't read it for thirty years so "Recalled to Life" just didn't jump out at me like it might have, say, even 15 years ago. :) I really ought to read it again, huh?

There are several blogs I have read in the last few days that have talked about being sick in some form or another. What the Heck?? Dang, it is not fun to clean up throw up and poopy things when you yourself are sick. Do you start to heave when you clean up icky stuff. I do!!!!!!!!!!!!! I may not be sick, but if I am cleaning up someone elses throw up or WHATEVER other disgusting thing, I start heaving.

I'm so sorry, I really am feeling for you! And I didn't guess the title because I had NO IDEA whatsoever. I'm very well read...I swear.

Do you need me to drive over there and bring you dinner this week? I seriously will. It'll be a good excuse to see ya :)

Good luck on Monday. Yeah for a new week.

Hey---visiting over from MMB....

Congrats on getting the nomination!
Your blog is awesome---and I believe that I came across it another time---but I can't remember?

No brain left---trust me on that one.

Anywho---hope you win!

I may have missed the tale of two cities reference but I can spot a princess bride quote a mile away!

I hope you win. Then I can say I knew you when!
