Do you like cute jewelry? Me too!

How many days a week do you get dressed? And I mean, really dressed. Like more than PJ's or sweats.

For a while there, it was sweats most days. They were just easier and more comfortable. I'm still trying to get rid of the last bit of baby weight, so everything but sweats still fits kind of funny.

Then one day, I got dressed. I put on a coordinated outfit. I did my makeup. I wore earrings. And a necklace. And I felt great! It was really surprising what that did for me. Okay, so maybe I wasn't as productive that day in the realm of toilet cleaning, but in the organizing and spiffing up the house categories, I was on a roll! Looking good led to feeling good and wanting environment to reflect that.

It is amazing what a good necklace or bracelet will do for you. Recently I discovered an adorable shop on Etsy for some great jewelry. Glitter by Grammie has a wide variety of fun and unique pieces. Let me show you my favorite.

I've been wearing it around all week. I love neutrals, because I can do that! I also got a gorgeous purple bracelet that I have had to fight my daughters on. They don't want me to wear it, because they want it!

And I'm not going to say that they are indestructible, but I did catch my son playing with the bracelet, and it was still in one piece. That is about the highest complement I can give for the quality of workmanship: If you make something that can survive 10 minutes with my son, I am sold!

Glitter by Grammie does custom orders as well as adjustments. She has jewelry for little girls as well as adults. You can check out her shop, or her blog.

Not only that but Glitter by Grammie is going to giveaway a necklace and bracelet to one lucky reader! To enter, go browse her shop and leave a comment with your favorite piece.

For extra entries:

Winners will be announced next Friday, Oct. 1. Good luck!

And don't forget to enter the bow holder giveaway! You have until Sunday night!

I LOVE the 3 stringed black bead necklace on her first page. I am not a big jewelry person but I could see myself wearing that.
Hope I win!!

I could not agree with you more! I rarely stay in sweats or anything of the like, but when I'm not feeling my best and I skip out on a shower and makeup, I just don't feel like myself. I feel so much better when I get dressed, and actually try.

And, I have to agree . . . the three strand black necklace is my favorite too . . . AND it's on sale! Oh how I love a sale :)

Jewelry....I miss you. Regular jeans that don't make me look like an overstuffed hippo in denim....please kick my sweats out of their comfy resting place...on my behind. It's been a long time since I've even tried to look good.

So your saying my yoga pants paired with a v-neck tshirt from Target aren't dressy enough to wear with jewelry!?! Crap!

I don't wear crosses but the silver and black one is stunning. My favorite is the turquoise beaded one (might even go with my blue yoga pants). =)

I agree sometimes it's just easier to stay in sweets.

I love to get ready but hate to do it when I have no where to go!

I am real good about getting dressed. Make up and jewelry I usually reserve for Sundays. I don't want to mess with taking all the hardware and face paint off at night. Hahaha.

I took your advice Rachel, I got dressed, I put on some makeup, and then I put on one of only two necklaces I own that are not made of macaroni! And it felt great. I even got that hair die I've been wanting to get and died my hair. Thanks for the inspiration!
