Tuesday Confessional

I kind of hesitate to write this, because some of the people who read it will either be giving or receiving presents from me this holiday season. But, as it is a confession, I'll risk it.

I am a re-gifter.  I try to be incredibly tactful about it. But honestly, when Christmas rolls around and I need to give away lots of things, I tend to re-gift to save money.

So know you know.

Don't hate me.

We ALL do it. Don't feel guilty. Just make sure you don't give a gift back to the giver, like I did.

I am so a regifter. I don;t get rid of anything. I know someday it will be needed. So I have alot of stuff that can be regifted.
I see nothing wrong with it.Some one was thoughtful enough to pick something outu for you, but if it really isn't your taste why not try to find someone who will love it more than you. RIGHT

Sorry about the typing errors. I have arthritis and on cold days it is hard to type.

We all do it, we just don't all admit it. :)

Be sure to check the gift thoroughly for the gift tag. We received a wedding gift with a small card inside with the name of another couple in it.

I got so many duplicate gifs for our wedding (a million years ago) that I had a whole closet full of stuff to regift. My mom would come to my house to shop for gifts. Nothing to be ashamed of (right? RIGHT? RIGHT!?!?!!)

Like we would ever hate you :) I think everyone has re-gifted at some point.

I'm totally a re-gifter also.

I've been known to re-gift. Not only does it save money---it saves space in your house that you need!

GASP! I am appalled, Rachel!!! not really. Nothing wrong with re-gifting, especially in today's economy.

um, my sister is a re-gifter, but I always get the crap! LOL. I have re-gifted in my day, it's okay!

I'm a re-gifter too. I do it all the time. And actually, the same Gilligan's Island singing cookie jar has been making appearances at our annual family Christmas party since the mid-90s. :)

Are you kidding me? We all do it. Otherwise we'd have perfectly good stuff sitting around we can't use. Own it!

I actually am not offended by re-gifting at all. As long as the product is new, I think it's totally acceptable. :)

Sometimes we get nice things, but can't really use them or have no place for them really---so give it to someone else who might.
