Monday Review

Sadly, no giveaway this week. Just a review.  MomSelect sent me their holiday pack which included 2 DVD's, all about Boz, the Bear.  If you haven't heard of these, this is a series of Christian DVD's and books geared toward preschoolers.  We got "A WowieBozowee Christmas" and "Thank You God for Bananas, Bubbles and Busy Bodies."

My children watched both of them and seemed to enjoy them. I think that they are a little young for my 5 and 6 year old, they seemed to lose interest much more quickly. My 2 year old, on the other hand, seems to love it and has watched at least one of them almost daily since we received them.

Boz kind of reminds me of a Christian version of Barney.  So if your children are Barney fans, they will probably enjoy Boz.  I appreciate it for the values.  Especially the Christmas video. Much of the focus of the video is that Christmas is not just about getting presents, but about   celebrating the birth of Christ.  When he does talk about presents he really emphasizes the fact that it doesn't matter how much money that you spend on the presents that you give, but that you give something that you have put your heart into.  Which is something that we are really trying to focus on at our house this Christmas.

If you are interested, you can find out more here.

Ryan has no clue who or what Barney is! Haha. But I am guessing he would enjoy these just the same. Plus they teach about Christmas! Nice. We don't get that too often these days.
