Sick Days

I'm pretty sure my son is coming down with something.  I am under this impression for a few reasons.

1. He snuggled in bed with me for like 30 minutes this morning.  That hasn't happened since he started crawling 2 years ago.

2.  He let me carry him up the stairs. Unusual for a child whose favorite phrase is "my do it!"

3.  His nose is stuffy.  This is really his only symptom. Other than the aforementioned.

Kind of funny how that works, huh?  Looks like a TV day at our house . . .

I hate getting and being sick. I've been trying to get over a cold for a MONTH! It's terrible.

It's almost worth it to have them sick if they'll snuggle:)

Those snuggling days are nice. I hope it's just a little nothing he has and is soon back to his "my do it" days!

I love the "my do it" phrase. I guess all two year olds really are similar, except mine says, "me do it". I hope he feels better soon!

Two things we have in common today.

One, my baby is sick too.

Two, I used the word aforementioned in my post.

Random.

It's almost worth it to have them sick for the snuggles. Almost!

'My do it!' Now that is adorable! Sounds independent ;)

My sophie said that too. MY DO IT! Ah, independence. It is nice to have them slow down once in a while.

Hope he feels better soon!

Mommies always know more than doctors. Funny how that works.

I agree with the snuggles. I hate to have the kids sick, but I do love laying with them on the couch while we watch a movie. It's so nice.

Ryan is doing this do, but no cuddling. Just the carry me thing. Otherwise he seems fine. Just sounds bad. Hope yours and mine get better real soon.

sometimes it is just fun to "snuggle up" with said sick kid. Just watch tv, snack and wait for him to say again

Ahhhh I love it when the kiddos want to snuggle and be loved on. I hope he's feeling better though.
