Monday Giveaway: Salutations!

So, as I mentioned in my last post I have an ear infection.  Ridiculous, I know.  Well, we had plans to go sledding on Saturday, and I couldn't stand the thought of missing out.  (Mostly, the thought of taking pictures.  And seeing my babies go down the hill.)  I also couldn't stand the thought of standing out in the cold and wind with an ear infection.  By some wonderful twist of fate, I received an adorable crocheted hat in the mail from Salutations, 4 days before I came down with that ear infection. Problem solved!

It was great, because I haven't had a winter hat in a long time. I have a hard time finding ones that I like, that I don't feel stupid wearing. The last couple that I have had, I liked them, but every time I moved my head they would slip a bit further and further up my head until it would blow right off. With the crocheted hat from Salutations, this was not a problem once, and I wore that hat for hours.

Salutations is an Etsy shop full of wonderful items. Most are hand crocheted. All are high quality.  There are adult beanies as well as child size beanies. My son also received a hat, which looks adorable on him.  The best part is that it fits my 15 month old and almost 3 year old. And it isn't too tight or too loose on either one of them.

(These aren't the hat my son got, because obviously, these are for girls.  I just forgot to take a picture of my boys wearing it and I think these are really cute!)

She also carries gorgeous baby blankets, baby sweaters, burp cloths, gloves and scarves.

Salutations has generously offered to give one of my readers any one item from her shop, under $40.

TO ENTER: Jump over to Salutations and take peek around. Find something that you would pick if you won, come back and leave a comment and tell me what it is.  If your email is not visible in your profile, please leave it in your comment. If I have no way to contact you, you are not eligible to win.

EXTRA ENTRIES: (please leave a  separate comment for each entry)
*Blog about this giveaway and leave the link in your comment
*Twitter about this giveaway and leave the link in your comment
*Make a purchase from Salutations (5 extra entries)

Contest will run until Sunday, January 31.

*I received 2 complementary hats for this review.

So cute! I would have to go for the pretty in pink, size 3-10 years... I like a lot of the 0-3 ones for Alex.. but less fact it, it would never fit her head :)

I like the mustard striped blue beanie (for boys, because I love my son in a hat!).

By the way, SOO sorry you have an ear infection! I still get them really badly about once a year (you'd think I'd look into that wouldn't you?) and its so miserable. Terrible!

I bought two of these for my girls but have been waiting for a rainy day or something to buy one for myself - if I win this giveaway I LOVE the Chunky Off-White Hat for me. Yup, being selfish.

And if I don't win, I may have to buy it anyway.

Call me silly, but I'd love to have the Assorted Crocheted Flowers. I crochet, but I haven't learned how to do flowers yet - these would give me a great visual and some pretties to add to my daughters' hats!

I'd choose the teal and green flapper style hat. I'd love it if it would fit me, but since it won't, I'll have to enjoy it's cuteness on my daughter.

Hope your ear infection clears up soon!
