Not Me Monday

Some things that I will deny to my grave that I did last week. . .

*I did not sit on my 5 year old to administer eye drops

*I did not buy a Frosty Float and then park my car and eat it so I didn't have to take it home and share

*I did not lock myself in the pantry just for a few minutes, to try and find something to make for dinner, only to capitulate and pull out the coupon for Sweet Tomatoes

*I did not eat a tray of homemade nachos, all by myself, for lunch

*I did not cry when I saw the prices for this.

* I did not get overwhelmingly excited for the much anticipated premiere of Chuck.

*I did not spend the weekend reading about zombies.

I did not go to Sonic after Alex fell asleep in the car and get food just for myself.

Rachel, I love you. You say what we're all thinking. And what we're all hiding. Did I eat almost an entire log of marzipan by myself this weekend? Did I let the Costco frozen goods section furnish most of the meals this last week? Did I fall asleep on the couch watching Pushing Daisies almost every night this last month?

Maybe. Prove it.

And don't get me started on zombies. Have you read World War Z? If you haven't, it's a must-read for you!

I did NOT eat the mysterious, opened bag of M&M's I discovered in my jacket pocket which had spent the week in the lost and found at church.

Ooh! How's P&P&Zombies? I want to borrow.

I did not and do not eat candy in a covert fashion.

I do not stay in the bathroom for an extended amount of time even when I have no need to be in there.

I do not lock myself in my room.

I like this game! ;)

I recorded Chuck last night but haven't watched it yet.

I wish I could go to the conference!

Thank goodness you didn't DO any of those things.
I have had to sit on my children for many things --still do.
I have been known to eat a whole plate of nachos --by myself.

I sit on my kids all the time. In fact we went through a stage with our second where we had to pin his arms down with our feet while pinning his legs down with one hand while the other hand changed his diaper. Sitting on kids for the sake of helpfulness and care is a parent's duty.

Sometimes the mamma's gotta do what she's gotta do, like sit on the kids. :)

I know what you mean about the price. I was sorta hoping it'd be 1/2 that. Ah well. Maybe we can stand outside of it together and just meet up with people as they're leaving. Haha

I did not spend hours on the computer bounding from blog to blog until I found a delicious blog like yours which I read from cover to cover, every post. A treasure and habit I plan NOT to develop as a ritual to NOT do again some time soon.
