Random Friday

Have you seen the previews for this? It looks very, very interesting. . .

***************************************
I have been a very bad blog friend lately. My commenting levels are almost at an all time low. Wanna see why?

Remember this?

And this?
Well, now it looks like this:

I know it's not green apple, but I got it for free!  If you live in or around Salt Lake, this is worth knowing. At the Trans Jordan landfill they have a hazardous waste recycling program. Basically they don't charge to take your hazardous waste (i.e. paint), and then they put it in a shed where anyone who wants it can come and take it. So, last week I drove out there and found two, yes two!, cans of green paint that was just a touch lighter than the color I was going for.  So, I took those two cans. And I painted my bathroom, and it looks SOOOOO much better!

But it has had some unpleasant consequences. For example:

and this:

and this:
Yeah. I might not be commenting much next week either. . .

I had to take my sewing machine and my Bosch in to get fixed this week.  My two favorite appliances.  And right in the middle of a project too.  I am sad.

I love what you did with the bathroom. I can COMPLETELY understand what happens to the rest of the home when working on a project. I wish I were closer because I would love to help you with your dilemma you have with your kitchen you posted about a long time ago. I would get such a thrill out of having a $200 budget and sprucing it up. Wouldn't that be fun?

Well, I love the "free" green. It's super cheerful and your bath is charming. That other little glitch (the residue mess) will be gone some day. Until then, just roll on. (Easy for me to say. I NEVER can do what I tell others to--relax and embrace the disaters.) Hope you can blog again soon. I missed you.

LOVE the bathroom!!!

Sorry your machines broke. My sewing machine broke, too. And I am without funds to repair it currently. But I also don't really need it right now.

The babies movie does look interesting.

Your bathroom looks great! I love the color! That's awesome that you got it free. It's perfect. I think it looks really great with the black vanity.

That movie looks really interesting.

Wow! It's magazine bathroom!!! Now...I hate to admit this, but my house is way messier than yours and I have no reason for it to be that way. Haha.

I love the green! That's the perfect shade. Could you mail me a swatch, so I can take it to get colormatched? I am serious....I am checking to see if I have your email so I can send you my address...call me crazy, but you don't know how hard it is to find the perfect shade of green!

WOW! I love the color of your bathroom! It turned out great! And as for your house...I don't see a problem. Mine looks like that all the time. Ok, maybe not all the time, but more than I'd like. :-/

What a perfect shade of green! It is such a happy, spring-y bathroom. I love it! Totally worth the dish pile-up. At least to me. Your husband might disagree. But what does he know?
