Hubris

It's official.

I've discovered it.

My fatal flaw.

I am convinced that I can do it better.

Not everything.  No. I know for a fact that I cannot run a marathon better than you.  100% certainty.

But some things.  Some things. And then I have to kick myself.

PS. this seems ironic coming immediately after the previous post. I'm having quite the week.

I think everyone has something they can do better than most others. And that's okay. You've probly worked hard to be at the one thing. As long as you don't rub my face in it, I don't care:)

Anything you can do, I can do better!
I can do anything better than you! Hahahaha. Or are you too young to know that one? ;)

I am perfect in not being perfect.

I have this problem, sort of. If I decide I'm going to do something, then I have to be the best. I get a little competitive about it and I get obsessed with learning all I can about whatever it is I decide to do. It does make me push myself but it also exhausts me and I don't come at excellence from the right motivation. Pride. I'm working on it. :)

If you only have the one fatal flaw, I'd say it's not a bad one to have. Plus, if you need a few more, my fatal flaw list is pretty long and I can let you borrow a few. Plus, I already have that particular flaw, so I don't mind sharing a few of the others.

p.s. I can probably spit farther than you, because I used to practice when I was 12. So good luck at being better than me there! HA, I win.
