So tell me. . .

Do you coupon?

And when I say that I mean like for everything?  Does it work for you?

Any tips?

And have you seen this?

(thanks for the heads up Liz!)

Not at all. This whole extreme couponing craze seems a bit much.

I will spend money, rather than my time, which I have less of.

I just started, I got a newspaper subscription, but I just clip out the ones my family will actually use.

Then http://www.grocerysmarts.com/ (click on your state in the top left corner then your store) helps me know what "sales" in the stores are actually good sales.

This site is also awesome, read the beginner section: http://thekrazycouponlady.com/

I haven't saved too much yet, but it is awesome to save a few bucks. What has helped me most is that Walmart price matches and accepts competitor coupons, so I just do most of my shopping there and take my ads to prove the price matching.

My sister is like that and although I sometimes think its completely ridiculous, she does save a lot of money. Here's my issues: use the coupons for what you actually need. Do you need six pallets of cereal? NO. My sister sometimes goes to five different stores in a week, I think thats stupid. If its not a store I normally shop at, I'm not going out of my way because of a coupon. I also think its rude to take all the store has to offer with your coupons not leaving any for others, be fair people! Okay, rant over. :)

I think this woman has a bit of a problem. For one, all that cold medicine is going to expire before she has a chance to use it barring some major epidemic. I can go along with needing all of that mayonaisse (if you say so-personally I hate the stuff) but she seems way heavy on the toiletries, that's for sure. However, one can never have enough T. P.

I would love to save more money, but I'm not about to spend all of my time {what little I have} running around to different stores every day of the week. And with gas prices climbing every day, who can afford it? Still, I find the extreme couponers so interesting. I would love to learn how to do better, that's for sure :)

I want to do this, it is just the learning curve I need to get over. When the baby is born I am going to put my heart and soul into it, I am sick of spending $100.00 a month on toiletries, I have lots of time and if I start to acquire too much of something I will just give it away and everyone will love me! I think this is awesome!!!
