I have a confession. I should have done this yesterday, as it was Tuesday and all.

I have given up.

Admitted defeat.

I just couldn't take it any more.

I ate cheese.

And then ice cream.

Followed by a lovely glass of milk.

I made the decision based on the fact that screaming baby has retained his title throughout the week. The eczema, which the Dr. said would improve if dairy was indeed the culprit, did not. In fact the only change in my child is the development of constipation. (Too much info? Sorry.) So, I gave up. Thank Heaven.

So if you will excuse me, I am off to eat some

With a lovely
Followed by a piece of

And most importantly:

Love the new look!! Your header pic looks like a vintage 50s pic. And you look so cute. I just love it all.

Sorry about the baby constipation, but it's good to know his problem isn't your love of dairy.

Have you considered taking him to a chiropractor? The Hulk was SO fussy when he was a newborn, and it turns out he was WAY out of line. The chiropractor really helped. And he was fantastic. Loved the guy. He was actually in Alpine. Renee Braack went to him. Let me know if you want his number.

It is so hard to know what our babies need, isn't it? Good luck, and in the meantime, enjoy the dairy!

Love the new look! And, I hope you get an answer to what's going on with baby soon. It must be pretty frustrating.

I tried and had the same results as you did when my daughter was an infant. Still screamed after a week of deprivation!

But now she's two and we have been on Goat's milk for three weeks now. She is better...everything!!!

Sorry about the soap box, but I just had to share my experience. I wish I had gone longer or been more diligent earlier. I could have saved myself so much heartache and poo!

I don't think we could survive at my house without dairy. My kids drink milk like it's going out of style.

My family couldn't live without dairy for even a day! Good job surviving as long as you did!

Both my boys have eczema also, but the doctor always attributed it to the dry utah weather, I didn't even know dairy could cause it, weird.

Love the new look!

And you have to give in for chocolate.

Put whipped cream on the ice cream and call it good!

I like your new look, too! The white goes along with your love for all things dairy.

I hope he feels better soon! That would be so hard.

I'd starve without dairy. Hope Seth is better soon. Maybe a trip to visit his aunt in Texas would do him good! The humidity here is great for eczema.

I wouldn't have made it as long as you did. I hope you can figure out what exactly is causing your little one to scream.

Quick question. Were you off dairy for the babys eczema and 'screaming' stuff or for one or the other? Does he scream because of the eczema pain or is that still unknown and it's on trail and error now? Ok sorry that wasn't quick or one question.

So you might already know this but there is a prescription cream for Eczema (I'll have to go grab my tube but let me know if you want me to tell you about it). I asked my doctor about what I could do and he said to use Eucerin-which is good but wasn't cutting it at first. I finally got some of the prescription stuff and after about a few weeks most of the rashes had gone away and now we just use Eucerin every now and then. (It was pretty bad it was all his face until he was about 4 or 6 mo.)

Way to go on the non dairy. It's so stinkin hard and I am so happy to know that you're happy again! Hooray for cows and their fabulous bounty of yumminess.
