Monday Giveaway: Green Jello with Carrots

We have Family Home Evening every Monday night.  My girls don't ever let us forget. They love it. Which surprises me, because we are about the least creative family ever when it comes to lessons and activities.  All of our lessons are centered on pictures out of the Gospel Picture kit, so there is a little variety there, but the games are a totally different story.  We get stuck.  Right now we are rotating between hide and seek, ring around the rosies, and the animal game. (The animal game was invented after a trip to the zoo. Pretty simple concept. Every one takes turns acting like an animal and the rest of us take turns guessing.) Which has gotten pretty old, as we have been circulating through these games since my oldest was 3.  She is now one month shy of 7.

Thank Heaven for Green Jello with Carrots. Green Jello with Carrots is a lovely, lovely website full of every kind of LDS clip art you could possibly want.  If you need new FHE ideas, like I do, this is the perfect place for you.

I really love the concept of this site.  You can browse the site and purchase one or two or 12 things that you like, download them to your computer and print them off at home.

The first game we tried out was FHE Twister.  My girls LOVED it.  It was kind of funny because I think that they enjoyed cutting everything out almost as much as they did playing it!  This is one of the items that I would recommend printing off on card stock or a heavier weight, and laminate it, because the pieces must be taped to the floor!

We also tried out one of the I Can Draw books. It took some explaining that my kids aren't actually supposed to color IN the pictures, but use them to make their own pictures.  Once they got it, my oldest was dying to try it out. And they are both anxious to take it to church!

The best thing about Green Jello with Carrots (other than the name, because seriously, how awesome is that?)  is the variety.  If you are in Primary, Young Women's, or Relief Society there is something for you. And not just games or handouts. There are stickers to go along with the handouts and posters.   There are scrapbooking kits for all kinds of fun things.  Even better, there is FREE STUFF.  Every Friday, Green Jello with Carrots announces that one of their products will be free that day.

So, what's not to love?  Even better, Green Jello with Carrots has offered one of my readers a $15 gift certificate to their site. (Which really goes a long way, trust me.)   So, do you want to win?  Well, hop on over to their site, look around and tell me something that you would like to win. Please leave your email in your comment. If I have not way to contact you, you are not eligible to win.

What cute ideas and the name is priceless. Sunbeam bingo is brilliant!

Oh we are sooo bad at FHE. This site is great for the creatively disabled folks of the world--like me! Haha.

The draw with me book would be a big hit over here. Spiderman is always trying to try stuff. And I know this was for a giveaway, but something that's made a big difference for us with FHE is the "Behold your little ones" nursery manual. They made great FHE lessons and have varying ideas.

When I saw the title of your blog I thought, she's giving away jello with carrots! Nobody is going to want that!! maybe someone would, but not me!
The website, on the other hand, is awesome! I think I'd go with sunbeam bingo, because my kids are pretty little, but I think they could get into it.

We need help with FHE at our house. I like the file folders they have. I've seen people with these and thought they were neat. So I'd want the FHE dress up bronze pack. Looks like fun!
